Volunteering is rewarding, fun and can be a great team building experience. We often need groups of up to 8 to help make the lunchtime meal, organize the food pantry, paint a room or help with some landscaping.

Several groups from churches, businesses and neighborhoods come once a month to cook dinner for our residents. That’s called Chef’s Night Out (even though the chef is there to assist in the kitchen.) Your group cooks for 45 people either in our kitchen or yours; some groups stay and serve or just deliver the prepared meal early in the day.

Those with young families enjoy sandwich making parties and then delivering them to the shelter.

We now have street outreach teams that bring supplies to homeless youth and adults; so personal care items are always needed. Helping the homeless can be either hands on or a very needed drive for essential supplies and food. Either way, you are helping to alleviate hunger and homelessness in our community. Thank you!
